After two years without a proper Christmas knees-up, this party season looks to be a bumper one. Hosting at home, visiting friends, festive dinners and lunches, proper parties with high heels and dancing and sore heads in the morning…
I’m keen to really dress up, too – I want to feel glam and in the spirit even if I’m hosting at home with Mariah Carey on, pottering around a Christmas craft market or just dropping in to my local. What I want for Christmases is something sequined, but rather than getting a dress, I’ve fallen for a sequined suit. That way I can go from a bit glitzy (the suit trousers with a white shirt or bright knit) to full bobby-dazzler, depending on the dress code. I know I’ll wear this one suit in endless different ways this winter (which is also a win for my cost-per-wear mission).
