Now that things are pretty much back to normal we’re all dashing back to the less-visited corners of our wardrobes to reacquaint ourselves with anything that doesn’t have an elasticated waistband and isn’t made from grey marl. Whether heading to the office again, going out for drinks, or just hooking up with friends, everything from jeans to leather jackets is getting a dust off in readiness to face the world once more. 

So what better time show yourself and your wardrobe a little love with a refresh of your favourite outfits. And in the spirit of rushing to get ready we’ve enlisted the help of TV presenter and Strictly Come Dancing star AJ Odudu to help friends Delina and Fiona pick out the perfect new outfits for brunch. The catch? AJ only has the time it takes for their cab to get to the store to make her choices.

‘My own style is bold bright and fun,’ says AJ, who faced the challenge of picking out something that looks great, but not too dressy and that can also be layered up to combat the autumn chill. ‘I love theses tailored pieces,’ continues AJ, who wore a waistcoat and trousers from Mango and picked out some amazing pieces for the girls including covetable LK Bennett kitten heel shoes and a perennially chic AND/OR biker jacket.
