Tan-luxe

Sunbathing may have fallen out of fashion years ago, but many of us still long for golden, sun-kissed limbs. Thankfully the world of fake tan has come on leaps and bounds in the past few years and you no longer need to worry about orange-stained sheets (or smelling strangely of biscuits). Tan-Luxe has taken a fully customisable, skincare-led approach to the world of self-tanning, creating cruelty-free products that are packed with ingredients to supercharge your skin and give you a natural glow.

Tan-Luxe The Face Illuminating Self-Tan Drops, £36This formula works with your existing skincare routine, transforming your favourite moisturiser, serum or oil into a custom self-tanner. Each drop also adapts to your skin tone, creating a glow that’s unique to you. Clever.
Tan-Luxe The Crème Advanced Hydration Self-Tan Facial Crème, £40Hydrate your body and top up your tan at the same time with this multi-purpose rich-cream formula. A cocktail of amino acids and antioxidants aim to fight the effects of environmental aggressors, while a dose of self-tan leaves skin with a natural-looking sun-kissed flush.

Festive finds

We know, how dare we say the C-word in September? But John Lewis can reveal that sales of baubles and Christmas trees have tripled in comparison to the same time last year. So, what will Christmas 2022 look like? John Lewis’ Lead Christmas Buyer, Lisa Cherry, says that this year's themes are ‘a celebration of local living, highlighting the importance of community in towns and villages, and the shared social moments of daily life through meeting, greeting and eating.’ We say cheers to that!

Mint condition

Mint condition The summer is coming to a close (don’t panic, it means we’re one step closer to autumn leaves, roaring fires and red wine) and with it comes the desire to treat yourself to a new dress for a new term. Inject a splash of colour into proceedings with this Mint Velvet bright blue shirt dress. It’s super soft and silk and has a flattering fit thanks to the belt to cinch in your waist. The midi length will look just as good with knee-high boots in the office as it will with pumps at the weekend or the school gates.
