Places, please, for Chloé’s his and hers curated wishlist, which celebrates fashion, fun and feeling good

With her book Take Care: The Black Women’s Guide To Wellness so successful that it’s already been reprinted, countless speaking engagements, plus a thriving wellness platform, thy.self, it’s no understatement to say that this is Chloé Pierre’s era. No surprise, then, that her capsule wardrobe choices include loud and proud options from Good American and Mint Velvet, and love-forever finds from MaxMara and Boden. As mum to two-year-old Crumble, Chloé has ideas on wellbeing-enhancing gifts for him too, from a wooden set of dolls to a stands-out-in-a-crowd top.

Womenswear

‘I'm screaming! John Lewis sells Good American?! I've been apprehensive to buy into this brand but now I easily can.’

Good American Parachute Cargo Trousers, Fatigue Grey, £130

‘Another perfect find. I’m creating the essential capsule wardrobe for all seasons, and here is a staple. The fit looks so good teamed with trainers, especially for curves.’

Good American Good 90s Split Back Hem Jeans, Indigo 464, £160

‘I'm no longer afraid of wearing colour. I love how flatteringly this dress falls, and it will be so easy to throw on and feel amazing in this summer.’

Mint Velvet One Shoulder Maxi Dress, Chartreuse, £45

‘There is no capsule wardrobe without a pair of loafers. I’m really excited to style this with everything on my list.’

KG Kurt Geiger Finsbury Trim Loafers, Patent Black, £109

‘Never underestimate the power of a white linen shirt and its lasting qualities. The semi-fit tailoring on this one will make a difference to any body shape.’

Boden Semi-Fitted Linen Shirt, White, £65

‘One thing’s for sure, winter is coming and I need my looks to be as effortless (and stylish) as possible. I can’t wait to team this with a cosy hoodie underneath. Winter school runs, here I come!'

Weekend MaxMara Rovo Wool Belted Coat, Black, £660

Kidswear

‘I always steer towards minimal and tonal clothes for Crumble, but as soon as I saw this top, I knew I had to have it. Dressed up or down, it will always be striking and hopefully easy to spot him in a crowd of children.’

Reiss Kids’ Maycross Wave Half Zip Short Sleeve Top, White/Brown, £38-£42

‘How cool is this reversible gown? We are a family of gown wearers and Crumble will love this. Definitely sizing up twice so he can get the most wear out of it.’

John Lewis Kids’ Reversible Outer Space Jersey Robe, Grey/Black, £20-£24

‘My son loves role playing, and it’s so fascinating to watch, especially at his age. I’m the type of parent who wants my son to build his emotional intelligence, so there is nothing wrong with a boy having a doll set, in my opinion. I love this one as it’s a whole (wooden and brown – tick for diversity) family for one cost.’

John Lewis Wooden Family Doll Set, £8.25
